Gone is a mother loved by all,
Her soul is now at rest.

If I knew it would be the last time

I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,

It's so magical those things you've made

My life was a dream come true
It all began when I was loved by you.

Every time we say good-bye

A Place Where Children Are
What kind of place would heaven be,
With all its streets of gold, if all the souls,
That dwell up there like yours and mine, were old
How strange would heaven's music
sound when harps begin to ring,
If children were not gathered round
to help the angels sing.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I'd see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small.
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

We've had so many happy years,
What is to come can hold no fears.
You'd not want me to suffer so,
The time has come, so let me go.

When we met, from that day I ceased to be

While she, with purr and velvet paw
