1. Why do the background pictures seem blurry and distorted?
The pictures on our web site have been compressed to a very small resolution. This means that a lot of pixels or image information was removed. They contain only about 1/20th of the information that our original pictures contain. This was done so that the pictures would load quicker.

2. What type or quality paper and ink do you use?
We use only the highest quality Kodak Ultima brand paper and Epson brand ink so you will be able to enjoy your memorial photo for many years to come.

3. What is the total cost of a tribute photo?
We charge a one time set up fee of $31.50 for each new memorial we make. This charge is for the actual work involved in digitally removing the background from your loved one's picture and to place it on your choice of one of our memorial backgrounds and adding the text to it. There is also a $5.25 shipping charge to mail the finished memorial photo to you. So the cost at this point is $36.75. Then to this you must add the cost of each memorial photo size and quantity that you would like. See question 4 below for those amounts. The result would be your total cost.

4. What sizes are available for my tribute photo and what do they cost?
We supply 3 different sizes. 3 1/2" X 5" at $4.80 each, 5" X 7" at $5.25 each and 8" X 10" at $6.30 each. We do not supply any smaller sizes because the text becomes to hard to read.

5. Do I receive a frame with my tribute photo?
You will receive your memorial photo cut to size and ready to frame but there is no frame included.

6.How long will it take to receive my tribute photo?
You will usually receive your memorial in 2 weeks or less. If we are running behind schedule we will update that number shown here in this answer. However if payment is made by check please add 2 weeks to that amount. We do not start work on any memorial until payment is made and checks have cleared the bank.

7. Do you provide memorials in other languages besides English?
No we're sorry but we do not. As much as we would like to provide everyone with a memorial photo we are unable to support other languages. What you see on our examples is the extent of our capabilities.

9. What is the OnLine Memorial with a song list and guest book?
The OnLine Memorial is another service we provide to our customers. With this service you can view your loved one's memorial photo right in your browser on your computer and your friends can also view it if you send them the link to it. Each tribute also includes a personal guest book where your friends can leave a message for you and other friends to view. Your OnLine Tribute would also have our customers web ring below it. You would have to join or enter your tribute in that ring before everyone who comes to our website would be able to view your tribute. If you don't join the web ring, only you and whoever you send the link to would be able to view it. Click HERE to learn more about it and how it works. You may also notice that the online tributes have a song list, this is included on each tribute. Some tributes automatically start playing a song as soon as you load them, it is the customers choice to add a song to play immediately. 10. How do I place an order?
You can read information on this by going to our Order Forms page. This will load a page describing your choices and it is from this page that you can click on the type of order form you wish to use. You can also go to the order form before you are ready to order to better see just what you will need. No information is sent back to Sweet Memories until you actually submit your order on the next page that comes up after you click the calculate button (submit button for credit card orders) on the order form. We don't like spam, so rest assured that we will never sell or even give away any of your information including your Email address. We will only use your Email address as your account number and to reach you if we have a question about your order.

11. How do I reorder more tribute photos or renew my online memorial subscription?
Go to the Order Forms and click the button labeled PayPal Reorder. This is a short form to reorder or renew and contains a $5.25 shipping charge for the photos but you will not be charged for shipping if you are just renewing your OnLine Memorial.

The short answer is NO you may not. We supply this service at a very reasonable price because we feel everyone should be able to enjoy this wonderful memorial tribute of their loved one and making copies of it simply would be wrong. Please read our Warranty and Copyright page.

15.How do I make payment for this?
That depends on how you send your information to Sweet Memories. If you mail the (print out and mail) order form and your loved one's picture to us then you may also send along a check for payment or if you prefer we can Email you a credit card invoice or you may use PayPal to make your payment to sweetmemories, we will Email you a PayPal invoice. If you order online we prefer that you use PayPal to make payment but you may also mail a check. Our online order form is setup to take you to PayPal's website or allow you to inform us that you will be mailing your payment after you have placed your order with us online.

You can also pay by credit card by going to our order forms page and clicking on the New Credit Card order button, you will first enter your loved one's information, then you will be taken to our online store for your product selection.

16. What is PayPal?
PayPal is an online payment service that accepts all the major credit card payments or you can set it up to just take the amount out of your personal checking account. They would then credit our account with your payment. To learn more go to our page About PayPal or you can go directly to PayPal's website to learn more and, or pre-register. We recommend that you pre-register before placing an order with us just to make for a smoother transaction. If for some reason you have a problem making payment when you place your order, Email us of the problem and we will have PayPal send you an invoice to finish with the payment.

Our Email address is hidden to avoid Email address collecting robots. To see our Email address click on Contact Information in the left menu. That will open a new page with a link on it for Emailing us which you can click on to send us an Email. But if you just want to see what our Email address is, hover your pointer over that link until you get a hand, our address can then be seen on the lower browser bar. The same place where all link url's are displayed when you hover over a link. It will look like this (Mail to: address) but the word address will be replaced with our actual Email address. You can click the Email link or you can also contact us by clicking on the contact us link on that same page which opens up a simple little form to fill in and submit, that way you don't even have to open up your Email program. If you need to you can also contact us by the phone number listed on that same page.

18. What if I don't have a picture of my loved one on my computer?

If you don't have a picture on your computer, your local copy center (for example WalMart, Kinkos, Office Max) should have an economical means of scanning and sending your photos to us or to you. You can also mail it to us and we will return it with your order.

If we made a mistake on your memorial please accept our apology. We will make the corrections and replace your photo free of charge. If you gave the wrong information we will have to charge $15.00 to correct the error.

20. How can I include special instructions?

If you have special instructions or needs or would like to enter your own verse, we have a seperate text box on the order form. One for a verse and another text box for other pertinant information.

22. Do you make tributes for weddings and an anniversary?

Yes we do. You can view some examples by and clicking on the link MORE EXAMPLES. Unfortinatly at this time we do not have many verses for these occasions. If you don't find what you are looking for, we suggest that you click on our related links page and try one of the links to a verse web site to find an appropriate verse, then you can type what you would like into the verse text box on our order form. Also on the order form, ignore the date of birth and death boxes but tell us what text if anything you would like under your photo. Again use the text box on our order form.

24. Do you offer gift certificates that I can give to a friend?

Yes we do. Within a day or two of purchasing a gift certificate we will Email it to you (along with instuctions on how to redeem it) and then you can print it out to give to your friend or Email it to them. You can also purchase more than one and print out the amount of copies that you purchased. We will not honor more than your purchased amount.
